15 Light-Minutes Away

15 Light-Minutes Away is a hand-drawn puzzle game created for the Lost Relic Games Game Jam.

The game centers around programming a small interplanetary rover to execute various maneuvers. Mimicking real-world challenges, communication with the rover is delayed, as it takes time to send messages to Mars, eliminating the possibility of real-time control.
You are required to strategize in advance, carefully planning the rover's route, considering wind direction, and collecting special soil en route to their destination. As you advance through the levels, the game's complexity escalates, presenting tougher challenges. You must navigate obstacles effectively and manage the rover's battery life to succeed.

Free Return Trajectory

Cover image of the game: "Free Return Trajectory". This illustration is composed in the style of a watercolor sketch and features a spacecraft executing a free return trajectory around a large, richly detailed planet resembling Jupiter, complete with swirling storms and bands of color. The trajectory path is highlighted by a bold, looping line that starts and ends at a smaller planet, suggesting Earth, in the upper left corner. The title "FREE RETURN TRAJECTORY" is displayed prominently to the right of the image in tall, blocky, hand-drawn lettering, creating a strong visual impact and emphasizing the space exploration theme of the artwork. The overall composition is enclosed within a neat border, giving it the appearance of a well-crafted mission patch or a collectible card.

Free Return Trajectory is a 2D relaxed playground about space exploration. The levels are just small tasks to challenge the player in 'flying manual'.

You control the movement with the thrusters and the main engine. Fuel is always limited and sometimes, malfunctions and hazards have a predominant role in the action. (not yet fully implemented)

I am currently transferring this game from Unity into Godot and given the opportunity, adding more features and levels.

ME Little Robo

Cover image of the game: "ME Little Robo". A whimsical illustration featuring a bright orange, boxy robot with two slender, rectangular panels on its head that resemble ears, and a gridded mouthpiece on the front of its body. The robot stands in a grassy landscape with a simplistic, boulder-like gray rock to its left and an abstract blue sky in the background. The title of the game is displayed in large, bold, orange letters at the top. The overall style suggests a playful and imaginative setting, conveyed through a hand-drawn and colored aesthetic that gives it a personal, storybook charm.

ME Little Robo was developed in dev classes to teach my students about Unity.
The game is a prototype of a survival game where the Robot finds itself searching for a purpose, surviving, and eventually discovering something very intriguing... (game not finished)
